Driver Safety and Community Guidelines

DRIVER SAFETY AND COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

This guide summarizes safety and conduct requirements in the Byryde Driver Terms of Use. Read the full terms at https://www.byryde.com/cms/view/10. This summary does not replace those terms or applicable law.

1. Safe driving and vehicle condition

Comply with traffic laws and posted speed limits. Do not drive while impaired, dangerously fatigued, distracted, or using an unsafe vehicle. Maintain brakes, tires, steering, lights, and seat belts. Use the vehicle registered with Byryde and do not exceed its legal passenger capacity.

2. Respect and accessibility

Treat riders respectfully. Harassment, threats, violence, sexual misconduct, and unlawful discrimination are prohibited. Follow disability-access laws, including requirements concerning service animals.

3. Safe pickups and airport trips

Use lawful and reasonably safe pickup and drop-off locations. Follow airport permits, designated areas, staging instructions, and traffic restrictions. Do not impose unauthorized airport charges.

4. Account integrity and rider privacy

Do not share driver accounts, falsify documents, manipulate GPS or trip records, create fraudulent trips, or request unauthorized off-platform payments. Access rider information only as needed for authorized transportation; do not misuse, sell, or disclose it.

5. Emergencies and accidents

For emergencies in the United States, call 911 immediately. Promptly report accidents during Byryde-related transportation services. Preserve relevant evidence when safe and lawful, and cooperate with required investigations and insurance reporting.

6. Report a concern

Contact support@byryde.com for safety concerns or account support. Email support is not a substitute for emergency services. Violations may result in investigation, restrictions, suspension, or termination under the Driver Terms and applicable law.
